Scott Martin, L.Ac., MSOM
Acupuncturist and Chinese Medicine Herbalist

Scott Martin believes healing happens when clinical precision meets genuine attention — every patient’s history, symptoms, and goals shape a treatment plan built specifically for them, not a one-size-fits-all protocol. With 18 years of clinical experience, Scott blends Balance Method acupuncture with Traditional Chinese Medicine dietetics and lifestyle guidance, helping patients address the root of their concerns rather than just the symptoms in front of them. Fertility, pain, and internal medicine conditions are the central focus of his practice.

Acupuncture with Scott is tailored to each individual and may also include TCM dietary and lifestyle counseling, Chinese herbal medicine, and pulse diagnosis to track how the body is responding to treatment over time. He’s committed to helping patients feel truly heard, taking the time to understand what’s going on beneath the surface before recommending a path forward.

Scott Martin has advanced training and specializes in:

  • Fertility: supporting individuals and couples through fertility challenges, with a strong track record of positive outcomes
  • Pain conditions: acute and chronic pain across the body
  • Headaches and migraines
  • Depression and anxiety
  • Internal medicine: digestive issues, hormonal imbalances, stress and sleep concerns, and a wide range of general health conditions
  • Chinese herbal medicine: individualized herbal formulation, including screening for herb-drug interactions for patients on conventional medications
  • Pulse diagnosis: advanced training in the Jimmy Chang method of Chinese pulse diagnosis
  • TCM dietetics: nutritional counseling rooted in both conventional nutrition science and traditional Chinese dietary theory

Scott Martin has been a Wisconsin Licensed Acupuncturist since 2008 and enjoys working in a collaborative, integrative environment where multiple modalities come together to support patient health.

Scott Martin graduated summa cum laude in 2008 with a Master of Science in Oriental
Medicine, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition with a TCM emphasis, both from the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine. He also completed a 200-Hour Yoga Teacher
Certification in 2006 and Reiki Level I & II certification in 2007–2008. He has completed advanced training in Chinese Pulse Diagnosis under the Jimmy Chang method and continuing education in herb-drug interactions with John Chen.
